The regenerative farming community gathered in force at Lannock Farm in Hertfordshire last week as Groundswell celebrated its 10th anniversary, bringing together farmers, researchers, food businesses, policymakers and innovators from across the world.
Hosted by the Cherry farming families, the two-day regenerative agriculture festival welcomed more than 500 speakers, 375 exhibitors and a number of high-profile guests, including HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh, Leader of the Conservative Party Kemi Badenoch MP, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Emma Reynolds MP, and Minister for Climate Katie White OBE MP.
A major highlight of this year's festival was the UK premiere of the Groundswell film, produced by Josh Tickell and Rebecca Tickell, the filmmakers behind Kiss the Ground and Common Ground. Ahead of its Cannes premiere, Harry Tickell also launched the One Billion Acres campaign, which aims to support the transition of one billion acres to regenerative management by 2030.
Across two packed days, hundreds of sessions explored the future of farming, with discussions spanning scientific research, finance, food systems and practical on-farm experience. As always, Groundswell provided a space for knowledge sharing, new ideas and meaningful collaboration across the food and farming sector.
Regenerative farmer and author Ben Taylor-Davies (RegenBen), who launched his new book MoreOn/Less-On at the festival, described Groundswell 2026 as "the best Groundswell yet", praising its welcoming community and the role it has played in supporting farmers embracing change.
Reflecting on the event, Event Director Alex Cherry said:

What began as a conversation between farmers has grown into a community that brings together people from across the food and farming system, united by a willingness to share ideas, challenge assumptions and learn from one another.
